Swedish traders are urging Nasdaq to reduce its trading hours in order to achieve a better work-life balance, as stated in a recent report by Bloomberg.
According to Elisabeth Beskow, the Swedish head of Norway's DNB Bank ASA, it is currently challenging to maintain a reasonable family life while working in the equities industry, with working mothers being particularly affected. Nasdaq
Sweden's trading hours are currently from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., which is the same as the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The London Stock Exchange also operates for eight and a half hours, but from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
