In yesterday’s meeting, the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG re-appointed Andreas Preuss, the company’s Deputy CEO and CEO of Eurex, as member of the Executive Board by further three years with effect from 1 April 2014.
Andreas Preuss (56) has been member of the Executive Board since April 2006 when he re-joined Deutsche Börse Group. In June 2008, he was appointed Deputy CEO. He is in charge of the Cash & Derivatives Markets division with responsibility for Eurex Group and Xetra. His current appointment will end on 31 March 2014.
Since October 2012, Andreas Preuss is also Chairman of the World Federation of Exchanges.
