Today’s market start of Rexel on the Eurolist compartment of Euronext Paris was a success.
The company placed 61.53 million shares to raise a total of EUR 1.02 billion, making this the largest listing on any Euronext market since the beginning of the year.
Both the global offer reserved to institutions and the open price offer for retail investors were oversubscribed by more than two times.
On the basis of today’s first traded price of EUR 16.50, the market capitalization of Rexel stands at EUR 4.18 billion.
Rexel is the 28th company to list on Euronext in 2007. Placements on all Euronext markets together come to EUR 1.6 billion since the beginning of the year, and have added 26.16 billion to total market capitalization.
