The admission of TomTom N.V. took place this morning at Euronext Amsterdam in the presence of Harold Goddijn, CEO of TomTom NV and Joost van der Does de Willebois, member of the Managing Board and Chief Financial Officer of Euronext N.V.
The IPO consisted of a total offering of 26.7 million shares, raising a total of EUR 467.25 million. Based on the price set for the opening – EUR 17.50 per share – market capitalization of the company reached EUR 1.87 billion.
Today Euronext.liffe Amsterdam also started trading equity options on TomTom N.V.
TomTom N.V. is Euronext’s 16th listing in 2005. Since January, new listings on Euronext markets represented an additional EUR 9.1 billion in market capitalisation, with EUR 2.1 billion raised.
