Aéroports de Paris placed 25.14 million shares to raise EUR 1.12 billion, the third largest amount raised in new listings on Euronext markets since the beginning of the year.
The global placement reserved to institutional investors was oversubscribed more than four times, while the open-price offering for retail investors attracted over 2.6 million orders representing a total of over EUR 2.9 billion.
On the basis of the first traded price today, which was 3.64% above the reference price at EUR 45.60 per share, market capitalization of Aéroports de Paris stands at EUR 4.44 billion.
Aéroports de Paris is the 50th company admitted to listing on Euronext markets this year. Overall placements on Euronext markets have thus reached a total of EUR 8.35 billion, adding EUR 36 billion to total market capitalization.
Aéroports de Paris is Europe's second largest airport business in terms of revenues from airport operation and the world's sixth largest in terms of passenger numbers in 2005.
