Successful introduction Of Grupo Media Capital On Euronext

Today Euronext listed Grupo Media Capital, SGPS S.A. Lisbon's first IPO in three years.

The subscription took place between 17th and 29th of March.

A total of 56,187,589 shares were listed and the offer price was fixed at EUR4,35.

The special session for the announcement of the results took place yesterday afternoon, in the presence of Miguel Paes do Amaral, CEO of Grupo Media Capital, and José Eduardo Moniz Director of the main TV broadcasting channel of the company (TVI).

Media Capital opened at 2:30 pm CET after the conclusion of the settlement of the offer, and after a pre-opening period of 30 minutes. The opening price was EUR 4,35 .

At the end of the first trading day, the price closed at € 4,20 with a capitalisation amounted to € 236 million. No less than 13 million shares were traded for a total amount of € 56 million, being the most traded equity among the whole Mercado de Cotações Oficiais.
