The introduction took place in the presence of Minister Johan Vande Lanotte, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Budget and Public Enterprise, Jan Coene, Chairman of the Board of Belgacom, Didier Bellens, CEO of Belgacom, Jean-François Théodore, CEO of Euronext and Olivier Lefebvre, Executive Vice-President of Euronext.
A total of 387,619,050 existing shares were listed, representing all of the company's ordinary shares. The offer price was determined at 24.50 €.
Belgacom opened at 24.50 € at 9:30 a.m.
At the end of the first trading day, the price closed at 25.67 €, an increase of 4.78%, compared to the introduction price of 24.50 €. As a result, Belgacom's capitalisation amounted to 9.95 billion €. No less than 23.5 million shares were traded for a total amount of 588.5 €.

Modification of composition of BEL20®-index
Following the IPO of the company Belgacom and the announcement of the definitive subscription price of 24.50 EUR, the BEL20® Compiler has decided to replace the company Tessenderlo in the BEL20® index by the company Belgacom on Tuesday March 30th (based on the closing prices of March 29th) provided the payment is irrevocable. If no other exceptional events occur in the meantime, the composition of the BEL20® -index basket will be as defined in the table viewed by clicking here.
Further to the announcement of review of the Euronext100 and Next150 index on March 18th, Euronext Indices announces that Belgacom will enter the Euronext 100 index on April 1st when the new composition will become effective since it is ranked among the 50 biggest companies on Euronext measured by market capitalisation.
