STOXX Limited, the market-moving provider of innovative, substantial and global index concepts, today announced that it has been named "The Most Innovative Index Provider Europe 2010". This is the second consecutive year that STOXX has received this award. The award was presented at the 7th Annual ETF Global Awards Dinner and Workshop hosted by Exchangetradedfunds.com in New York. Award winners were selected based on votes cast by the readers of exchangetradedfunds.com as well as by statistical ranking information, thus representing the industry's views.

There are currently 295 ETFs based on STOXX, DAX and SMI indices, including the flagship EURO STOXX 50, STOXX Europe 600 Supersector and STOXX Select Dividend indices. As of July 2010, STOXX is the marketing agent for the indices of Deutsche Boerse AG and SIX Group AG.
Recent index launches by STOXX include the STOXX Global Index family of more than 1,200 indices, as well as the STOXX Global ESG Leaders, STOXX Europe Islamic Indices and EURO STOXX 50 Monthly Leverage and EURO STOXX 50 Monthly Double Short Indices. The STOXX Europe Christian Index, EURO STOXX 50 Monthly Leverage and EURO STOXX 50 Monthly Double Short Indices also serve as the basis of ETFs.
