STOXX Changes Composition Of European Benchmark Indexes - Results Of The Third Regular Quarterly Review To Be Effective On September 21, 2009

STOXX Ltd., the leading provider of European equity indexes, today announced changes in the composition of the Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800 Index, Dow Jones STOXX Total Market Index, Dow Jones STOXX 600 Index, Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Total Market Index, Dow Jones STOXX Eastern Europe Total Market Index, Dow Jones STOXX Eastern Europe 300 Index and their sub- and sector indexes, as well as the Dow Jones STOXX Football Index, Dow Jones STOXX Private Equity 20 Index and Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC Select Dividend 20 Index.

Effective as of the open of European markets on September 21, 2009, the following nine stocks will be added to the Dow Jones STOXX 600 Index and its respective size and sector indexes: AIXTRON AG (Germany, Technology, AIXA.XE), AZIMUT HOLDING S.P.A. (Italy, Financial Services, AZM.MI), BANCA POPOLARE EMILIA ROMAGNA (Italy, Banks, BPE.MI), BANCA POPOLARE DI SONDRIO (Italy, Banks, BPSO.MI), COOKSON GROUP PLC (U.K., Industrial Goods & Services, CKSN.LN), HENDERSON GROUP PLC (U.K., Financial Services, HGI.LN), INCHCAPE PLC (U.K., Retail, INCH.LN), IRISH LIFE & PERMANENT PLC (Ireland, Insurance, IPM.DB) and TAYLOR WIMPEY PLC (U.K., Personal & Household Goods, TW.LN).

Companies exiting the index are: BULGARI S.P.A. (Italy, Personal & Household Goods, BUL.MI), D/S NORDEN A/S (Denmark, Industrial Goods & Services, DNORD.KO), FAES FARMA FAE.MC (Spain, Health Care, FAE.MC), FONDIARIA-SAI S.P.A. (Italy, Insurance, FSA.MI), HERA S.P.A. (Italy, Utilities, HER.MI), HUNTING PLC (U.K., Oil & Gas, HTG.LN), SARAS S.P.A. (Italy, Oil & Gas, SRS.MI), TUI AG (Germany, Travel & Leisure, TUI1.XE) and UNIPOL GRUPPO FINANZIARIO PREF S.P.A. (Italy, Insurance, UNI.MI).

CASTLE PRIVATE EQUITY AG (Switzerland, Financial Services, CPEN.EB) will replace MANAGEMENT & CAPITALI S.P.A. (Italy, Financial Services, MEC.MI) in the Dow Jones STOXX Private Equity 20 Index.

The composition of the Dow Jones STOXX Football Index will remain unchanged.

The Dow Jones STOXX Total Market, Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800, Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Total Market, Dow Jones STOXX Eastern Europe Total Market and Dow Jones STOXX Eastern Europe 300 indexes are also part of this regular quarterly review. Changes above are being announced today after the conclusion of a regular quarterly component review. The adjusted component weightings, including the number of shares and free-float factors, will be announced on September 11, 2009, after the close of European markets. All changes will be effective as of the open of European markets on September 21, 2009.

Also effective on September 21, 2009 H. LUNDBECK A/S (Denmark, Health Care, LUN.KO) and NOVO NORDISK B A/S (Denmark, Health Care, NOVO-B.KO) will replace CARDO AB (Sweden, Industrial Goods & Services, CARD.SK) and TORM A/S (Denmark, Industrial Goods & Services, TORM.KO) in the Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC Select Dividend 20 Index. CARDO and TORM are being removed due to their deletion from the Dow Jones STOXX Total Market Index following today’s quarterly review. The adjusted component weightings in the Dow Jones STOXX NORDIC Select Dividend 20 Index will be announced on September 16, 2009, after the close of European markets.

As of July 31, 2009, the total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX 600 Index increased to € 4,34 trillion from € 4,33 trillion, while the total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Total Market Index remained unchanged at € 4,58 trillion.

The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Private Equity 20 indexes increased to € 12.22 billion from € 10.64 billion.

The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800 Index decreased to € 13,77 trillion from € 13,82 trillion, while the total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX EU Enlarged Total Market Index decreased to € 62.50 billion from € 62.96 billion.

As of July 31, 2009, the total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Eastern Europe 300 Index increased to € 294.99 billion from € 287.81 billion, while the total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Dow Jones STOXX Eastern Europe Total Market Index increased to € 303.15 billion from € 295.91 billion.

The total free-float market capitalization of the Dow Jones STOXX Football Index will remain unchanged at € 575.15 million.
