The Stock Exchange of Thailand today released the official figures of securities trading for the month of October 2000, which recorded the total market turnover of 4,865.79 million shares in volume and Bht. 67,548.47 million in value. The SET Index closed on October 31 at 271.84, down by 5.45 points or 1.97 % from the closing of previous month. PTT Exploration and Production Public Co., Ltd. (PTTEP) was the most active stock with total trading volume of 43,809,800 shares, representing Bht. 4,684.79 million in value. Yuanta Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (YUANTA), Member # 12, was the most active broker with total trading value of Bht. 13,278.45 million.
