The Stock Exchange of Thailand today released the official figures of securities trading for the year 2000 and in December 2000, which recorded the total market turnover of 60,502.56 million shares in volume and 923,696.83 million baht in value. The SET Index closed on December 29 at 269.19, down by 212.73 points or 44.14 % from the previous month. Derivative Warrants for SCB Preferred Shares (SCB-C1) was the most active stock with total trading volume of 3,536,019,600 shares, representing Bht.28,322.83 million in value. ABN Amro Asia (AST) Member # 8, was the most active broker with total trading value of 162,452.01 million baht or 8.79% of the total trading value.

The SET Index closed on December 29 at 269.19, down by 8.73 points or 3.14 % from the previous month. Hana Microelectronics Public Co., Ltd.
