Stock Exchange Of Thailand: 'MAI' Managing Director accept new position at BMB

Mr. Yuth Vorachattarn, Executive Vice President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and Managing Director of the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) revealed that he has accepted a position of Managing Director, Bangkok Metropolitan Bank Public Company Limited which will be effective in August 2001.

"With regards to the new post, it is an honour and a pleasure as well as a new challenge for this appointment. Considering my service at the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Market for Alternative Investment, I am very confident that we have established the framework and structures in place to pave a way to the new organization of the stock market." Mr.Yuth said.

The successor to Mr.Yuth will be determined according to SET's recruitment procedure.
