Stock Exchange Of Thailand Board Appoints Mr. Kampanart Lohacharoenvanich As Its Vice Chairman And Mr. Suraphol Kulsiri And Mrs. Pattera Dilokrungthirapop As Tts New Governors, As Well As Directors And Committee Members Of The SET’s Subsidiaries

Executive Vice President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand, Ms. Patareeya Benjapolchai, who’s the secretary of the SET Board, announced that the board resolved today (June 22) to appoint Mr. Kampanart Lohacharoenvanich as its Vice Chairman effective on June 22, 2005. Mr. Kampanart’s term will be until May 27, 2006. His appointment is to replace Mr. Suthep Peetakanont who has already completed his term. As the SET board’s vice chairman, Mr. Kampanart will also be an ex-offcio committee member of the SET’s Executive Committee and its Remuneration Committee as well.

Furthermore, Mr. Kampanart has been appointed a member of the SET’s Disciplinary Committee and the director of the Thailand Futures Exchange Pcl. Meanwhile Mrs. Asvini Tailanga, another SET board of governor representing the member companies, has been appointed a member of the SET’s Audit Committee.

Also included in the board resolution is the appointment of two new board members. They are Mr. Suraphol Kulsiri, Chief Executive Officer of Kiatnakin Securities Co., Ltd. and Mrs. Pattera Dilokrungthirapop, Chief Executive Officer of DBS Vickers Securities Co., Ltd., who were elected at the general meeting of the SET’s member companies on April 28, 2005. They will replace Mr. Suthep Peetakanont and Mr. Wiboon Perm-Arayawong who finished their terms on May 27, 2005. The terms of Mr. Suraphol and Mrs. Pattera will be from May 28, 2005 – May 27, 2007.

Also resolved at the SET board meeting, Mr. Suraphol was appointed as a member of the SET’s Technology Development Committee and also as one of SETTRADE.Com’s directors. As for Mrs. Pattera, she was appointed as a director of the Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd. as well as a director of SETTRADE.Com Co. Ltd.
