Stock Exchange Of Thailand: Bangkok Rubber Ranked Most Active Stock In July 2001

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) President, Mr. Vicharat Vichit-Vadakan, disclosed that the most active stock traded by investors in July 2001 was Bangkok Rubber (BRC) with a total trading volume of 260,406,800 shares, representing 3,183.75 million baht in value. Additionally, Yuanta Securities (YUANTA), Member # 12, was the most active broker with a total trading value of 18,203.64 million baht or 9.99 % of total trading turnover.

"SET secutrities trading in July recorded a total market turnover of 10,167.50 million shares in volume and 91,072.36 million baht in value, decreased by 26,200.50 million baht from June. The SET Index closed on July 31 at 297.69, down by 24.86 points or 7.71 % from the previous month," he added.
