"The SET aims to support the development on financial instruments to benefit the capital mobilization of listed companies in the future, as well as to increase new investment alternatives and attractiveness of the stock market. It appoints a new Vice President to look after Financial Instrument Market in order to be flexible and timely respond to the industry's needs.
Besides, the SET increases its personnel in the areas of listed companies and information disclosure to ensure the compliance with the SET' s rules and regulations. Listed companies information disclosure is regarded to be very significant for the decision making of investors. Complete disclosure will enable investors to have enough information for their investment decisions, especially at this time when investing in the SET is of interest," Mr. Kittiratt said.
The newly appointed SET executives are the following:
- Mr. Sakkarin Ruamrangsri, formerly Vice President of Legal Department, is Senior Vice President looking after Corporate Affairs, Enforcement, and Legal Departments
- Ms. Wipha Leethakulnumchai is Vice President, Listing and Disclosure Department
- Ms. Kesara Manchusree, formerly Senior Executive Vice President of the Thai Bond Dealing Center, is Vice President, Financial Instruments Market Project
- Mr. Pongpiti Ektheinchai is Vice President, Pre-Trade Systems Department
- Ms. Nichapatra Akkaravatewatana is Vice President, Information Technology Management Department
- Ms. Nantaporn Damrongpong is Vice President, Member Services Department
- Ms. Sumalee Lertthanaporn is Vice President, Enforcement Department.
