Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES) - Voice Activated Trading System

MacroVision, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES), is pleased to announce that it has developed a voice-activated trading system using speech recognition technology. The system will be implemented over two phases.
In the first phase, investors will be able to access live stock quotes. Subsequently, in the next phase, the system will allow for voice-activated trading.
Lim & Tan Securities and DMG & Partners Securities are the first to acquire the system from MacroVision. They will be providing the service to their clients from 6 September 1999 onwards. Details can be found in their respective press releases which are attached.
