Stock Exchange Of Hong Kong: Change Of Designated Securities For Short Selling

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 5 September 2005 (Monday), China Shenhua Energy Co Ltd (Stock Code: 1088) will be added to the list of designated securities eligible for short selling.
