Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350 and S&P Euro Plus indices effective the close of trading Thursday, July 22, 2004:
- Statoil ASA (Norway, SEDOL: 7133608, GICS: Energy, GICS Code: 10102010), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P Euro Plus indices, Investable Weight Factor will change from 0.1828 to 0.24. This is following the sale of ordinary shares by the company’s major shareholder, Norwegian state.
