Bursa Malaysia is continuously exploring potential collaboration with strategic business partners to assist the growth of its different businesses. Such business partnerships may involve equity holding, depending on how the relationship develops in the future. In this respect, we wish to clarify that Bursa Malaysia and CME are in discussions on potential collaboration by the exchanges but the discussions are still at preliminary stage, and no terms have been agreed upon by both parties.
Bursa Malaysia will make appropriate announcements should there be any significant corporate development on this matter. Trading on the Bursa Malaysia counter (Code:1818), Call Warrants CE, Call Warrants CF and Call Warrants CH will be halted for the morning session from 9am to 12:30pm in order to allow the market sufficient time to assimilate the announcement. Trading on these counters will resume at 2:30pm today.
