(TSE: TIW) will be removed from the S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index and replaced with Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. (TSE: AGE), Meridian Gold Inc. (TSE: MNG)and Westaim Corporation (TSE: WED). 360networks Inc., Certicom Corp. and Telesystem International Wireless Inc. will be added to the S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap Index.

Meridian Gold Inc. is a gold producer with mining operations in the El Pen Mine in Northern Chile. Meridian Gold Inc. will be added to the S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index in the Materials sector.
Westaim Corporation is a technology company which includes iFire Technology Inc., Westaim Biomedical Corp. and Technology Deployment International Inc. as subsidiaries.
