Standard & Poor's – Index Change: S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Index

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces that effective after the close of business on Friday, May 11, 2001, the following changes will take place in the S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Index.

The following company will be added to the S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Sector Index:

• Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. (TSE: EXF)

The following companies will be removed from the S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Sector Index due to lack of representation:

• COGNICASE INC. (TSE: COG)
• Geac Computer Corporation Ltd. (TSE: GAC)
• MGI Software Corp. (TSE: MGI)
