Standard & Poor's - Index Change In S&P/TSE 60 Capped And S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Sector Indices

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces that effective after the close of business on Tuesday, February 20, 2001, the following changes will take place in the S&P/TSE 60 Capped and S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Sector Indices.

The weight of Nortel Networks Inc. (TSE: NT) will increase by approximately 5.07% in the S&P/TSE 60 Capped Index and 7.91% in the S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Sector Index. The relative weight change reflects an adjustment to the float shares pursuant to S&P/TSE 60 Capped Index methodology and S&P/TSE Canadian Information Technology Sector Index methodology.
