Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes In S&P Japan SmallCap 250, S&P Japan MidCap 100 And S&P Japan 500 Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Japan SmallCap 250, S&P Japan MidCap 100 and S&P Japan 500 Indices effective after the close of trading Thursday, March 6 2008:

  • Aiful Corp (Japan, SEDOL: 6019419, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40202010) a member of the S&P Japan MidCap 100 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 25,440,000 to 167,475,000 and its IWF will be updated to 0.449 due to the private placement.
  • Toyama Chemical Co Ltd (Japan, SEDOL: 6899600, GICS: Health Care, GICS Code: 35202010) a member of the S&P Japan SmallCap 250 and S&P Japan 500 indices, shares will increase by 43,925,000 to 241,085,461 and its IWF will be updated to 0.515 due to the private placement.
