Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P Canadian Indices - S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index:

• The common shares of Gemini Energy Corp. (TSX:GNI) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of business on Monday, June 24, 2002. The company's securities will be listed on the TSX at the opening on Tuesday, June 25, 2002.

Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
