Standard & Poor’s Announces Annual Rebalance Of The S&P Europe- Registered Funds Index Series.

Standard & Poor’s announces that the S&P Europe-Registered Funds Indices are to undergo their annual re-balancing effective using fund prices for 30 November 2006.

There are to be no additions or removals to the indices as a result of the annual review. The individual funds weightings will however be adjusted as per the weighting methodology.

S&P Europe-Registered Funds Index Series

The S&P ERFI series are indices designed to represent the universe of actively managed mutual funds that are available to European investors in four major markets: France, Germany, Italy and Spain. S&P ERFI constituents are selected from a broad universe of funds in the Standard & Poor's database. Currently, there are three geographic markets included: European Equity, U.S. Equity, and Global Fixed Income. European Equity includes funds with investment mandates across continental Europe and the United Kingdom; U.S. Equity includes funds focused on the mid- to large-capitalization markets in the U.S.; Global Fixed Income includes fixed income funds with investments across major world markets.
