I joined the FSB Secretariat in February 2021, coming from the Bank of England. My main focus is on communications, ensuring the FSB’s work is effectively conveyed to our global stakeholders and doesn’t get lost in translation (literally or figuratively).
Beyond communications, I support the Regional Consultative Group for the Americas, which, on top of improving my Spanish, has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing Emerging Markets. More recently, I’ve taken on the role of the FSB’s lead coordinator for the G20, giving me a front-row seat to international cooperation at the highest level (and some very packed meeting agendas).
Another highlight has been supporting the FSB Compensation Monitoring Contact Group, where I’ve engaged with the private sector on how financial institutions use compensation tools to promote sound risk management.
No two days are ever the same! Working here has been incredibly rewarding, but what I value most is collaborating with colleagues from around the world. Their diverse perspectives and experiences make the work truly enriching.
