I joined the FSB Secretariat in September 2024, coming from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
At the FSB, my main focus is on the vulnerability analysis and implementation monitoring work of stablecoin and crypto-asset markets. On top of that, I supported peer reviews assessing member jurisdictions’ cyber risk management practices, as well as regulatory discussions on responsible innovation. As such, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to an array of important financial stability topics (including G20 papers to be published soon), which also gave me valuable insights into the inner workings of the FSB and its membership.
In my work as a member of the Secretariat, I especially value the close-knit and multilateral collaboration across authorities of different nature and geographies. One prime example would be the thematic review on the implementation of the FSB crypto and stablecoin recommendations, in which a large team of cross-sectoral regulatory and supervisory experts from 10 jurisdictions and 2 international organisations (IMF and World Bank) worked closely for a whole year.
The meaningful relationships built with colleagues around the world, both within the Secretariat and through the FSB’s work certainly allow for many collaboration opportunities in the future!
