Sova Capital announces that Fraser Smith has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Fraser brings significant experience as a Global Financial Director with expertise in Asset Management, Global Banking & Markets, UHNW Wealth Management and Securities Services.
Fraser spent the last 12 years at HSBC, originally as Global Financial Controller in Asset Management, then Head of Business Performance for Global Banking & Markets, and most recently, as Global CFO for their Securities Services division. Prior to his time at HSBC, Fraser was a vice president at Merrill Lynch and previously worked s at Arthur Andersen as a Corporate Fraud Investigator.
Fraser qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in London.
