South Kaveh Steel Rang Tehran Securities Exchange Opening Bell

Date 05/10/2025

South Kaveh Steel Company (SKS)’s executives joined Tehran Securities Exchange’s opening bell ceremony on Sunday 5th October 2025.

Javad Hatami, the CEO of South Kaveh Steel Co., officially inaugurated Tehran Securities Exchange’s trading session by ringing the opening bell to mark the 8th anniversary of listing KSK in TSE.

Highlighting the company’s strategic role in Iran’s industrial and economic development, the CEO stated: “Kaveh South Kish Steel Company is currently one of the largest producers of steel and sponge iron in the country.”

He added, “Fortunately, KSK successfully implemented its “continuous production” plan in the current year, achieving higher output levels and enhanced productivity across its steel production cycle.”

Hatami emphasized that the company’s integrated strategies and cohesive planning in production and sales have significantly enhanced Kaveh’s standing in the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), so that KSK secured the top rank in IME this year according to the key indicators, including supply, demand, and trading value.

Established in 2007 in Hormozgan Province, KSK benefits from a strategic geographic location, easy access to southern ports, efficient North-South rail transit capabilities, reliable water resources, and proximity to valuable metallic mines - and ensures collectively strong economic viability.

The company listed at TSE in 2017 and currently holds a market capitalization around IRR 180 trillion.
