Sociedad de Bolsas has designed its new website with special care, reflecting the BME’ Group’s corporate identity and the provision of new, improved quality of information for Internet users, investors, media and members.
Among other contents offered on the website is all the information relating to the new IBEX MEDIUM CAP® and IBEX SMALL CAP® indices, which will start trading tomorrow. The aim of these indicators is to improve the visibility and tracking of medium and small capitalisation stocks. Additionally, available for users is a special section containing information about the IBEX® Technical Advisory Committee.
In line with a policy of transparency, a monthly report is published which contains information on market statistics, trading figures and information on indices from 2002. This new section offers detailed information on stock exchange data such as prices and volumes, financials (paid and forecast dividends, PER ratios, cash flows) as well as statistics (beta ratios, volatility and correlations) for all companies listed on SIBE.
The chapter dealing with liquidity assessment allows for a consistent and detailed analysis of this factor from three aspects: ex-ante liquidity (spreads, lambdas, ex-post (effective trading volume) and for the stocks included in the IBEX 35® index, replicability (spreads for 1 and 4 future contracts and theoretic lambda ratio). The chapter also includes comprehensive information on stock trading, financial transactions carried out by listed companies and market members. It offers, in short, a compilation of data in a direct and comprehensive way.
