The statistical monthly report published today contains the latest trade and turnover figures for SIX Swiss Exchange and Scoach Switzerland.
The newest statistical monthly report[PDF] shows that in June 2012, turnover on SIX Swiss Exchange andScoach Switzerland increased by 5.1% compared to the previous month, reaching CHF 79'352 million. With a growth of22.5%, the segment Bonds CHF posted the biggest increase, followed by structured products & warrants (+12.1%).
Concerning the number of transactions, the segment Bonds CHF also posted double-digit growth in June 2012 (+14.4%). The ETF segment also recorded more trades (+2.1%), while the overall number of transactions fell by almost 8% compared to May 2012.
