Date 16/09/2013

Six new exchange traded funds issued by db X-trackers II, the ETF segment of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, have been tradable in the XTF segment on Xetra since Monday.

The new db X-trackers II Canadian Dollar Cash ETF gives investors access to the Canadian dollar repo rate for the first time. The reference index tracks the performance of a deposit to which the Canadian Overnight Repo Rate (CORRA) applies. The interest generated on the investment is reinvested daily. The CORRA is a weighted average rate, determined by the Bank of Canada, of all overnight repo transactions secured by the Canadian government.

The two new db X-trackers II iBoxx Spain ETFs enable investors to participate in the performance of the tradable debt instruments issued by the Spanish government. The iBoxx Spain Index exclusively comprises fixed income bonds with a remaining term of at least one year and an outstanding issue volume of at least €2 billion. The iBoxx Spain 1-3 Index limits the terms of its government bonds to a maximum of three years.

The two new db X-trackers II MTS Italy Aggregate ex Bank of Italy with terms of 1-3 and 3-5 years enable investors to participate in the performance of Italian government bonds. The reference index comprises fixed-income, floating-rate and zero bonds with a maximum term of 12 or 24 months respectively.

The db X-trackers II iBoxx Sovereigns Eurozone Yield Plus 1-3 ETF provides investors with access to euro bonds issued by the five euro zone countries with the highest yield. The debt instruments contained in this index have a remaining term of one to three years. Issuers must have an Investment Grade rating to be included.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,013 exchange-listed index funds, making it the largest offering of all European stock exchanges. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of €11 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
