With respect to the announcement of quarterly and half-yearly financial results for financial years commencing on or after 1 January 2004, the 45-day deadline prescribed by Listing Rule 705 will continue to apply.
In the next round of listing rule amendments, SGX will amend Listing Rule 705 to align it with the Government's changes to the reporting deadline.

Following feedback from the business sector, the Government has announced on 20 August 2004 (refer to speech by Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade and Industry, at the CPA Forum) the extension of deadline for full year reporting by listed companies, effective for financial years commencing on or after 1 January 2004. The quarterly and half-yearly reporting deadline for listed companies for financial years commencing on or after 1 January 2004 would remain at 45 days.
