Singapore Exchange: Eurodollar And SiMSCI Contracts Break Records On 17 October 2002

Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) today announced that its Eurodollar and MSCI Singapore Stock Index futures contracts hit new daily open interest records on 17 October 2002.

Eurodollar traded a record open interest of 201,997 contracts as compared to the previous record of 191,763 contracts set on 12 September 2001.

The MSCI Singapore Futures contract broke its open interest record for the third time in four days with 18,080 contracts on 17 September 2002, surpassing the previous record of 17,574 contracts set on 15 Oct 2002.
