SIMEX and NYMEX Sign Co-operation Agreement

The Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX) and the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) have signed a co-operation agreement allowing the NYMEX ACCESS electronic terminals to be placed in Singapore through SIMEX corporate members The agreement will allow SIMEX corporate members to trade such NYMEX energy and metals futures and options contracts that may be approved by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, both proprietarily and for customers, during the hours they are offered on the system which coincides with the Asia/Pacific trading day.
