On November 1, 2019, China Central Depository & Clearing Co., Ltd. (CCDC), Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE), Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX), Shanghai International Energy Exchange Co., Ltd. (INE) hold the ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Xi’an.
Attending and witnessing the signing ceremony upon invitation are Deputy Director of the National Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance Wang Shaoshuang, , Deputy Director of the Department of Futures Supervision of China Securities Regulatory Commission Yan Shaoming, President of CCDC Chen Gangming, and Doctoral Supervisor of Wuhan University and former director of the Balance of Payments Department of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange Guan Tao. CCDC Vice President Xu Liangdui, SHFE Vice President He Jun, ZCE Vice President Yu Xuanfeng, DCE Vice President Wang Yufei, and CFFEX Vice President Zhang Xiaogang sign the MOU on behalf of each institute.
The signing of the MOU marks a new step for the connectivity of the bond market and the futures market. According to the MOU, CCDC and the exchanges will carry out in-depth cooperation in the application of taking bonds as futures margin in the futures market.
