Signicat, the leading European Digital Identity platform, has been named one of the Financial Times and Statista’s Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions 2027, marking its third consecutive appearance in the ranking. The ranking recognises companies that have sustained primarily organic revenue growth over ten years.
Earning a spot among this prestigious group of 300 European companies for the third time in a row underscores Signicat’s consistent market leadership and long-term vision.
“Three consecutive appearances are a great achievement on this prestigious list ,” said Asger Hattel, CEO of Signicat. “Our growth has been sustained over a decade because we have consistently expanded our market share by building a platform that our customers fundamentally trust. As fraud becomes more sophisticated and regulation increases, thousands of businesses rely on us to manage their most critical digital identity processes, allowing them to establish trust without creating unnecessary friction for consumers”.
Signicat also ranks 17th among 61 IT & Software companies, placing it in the top third of the ranking’s most represented sector. IT & Software accounts for 20% of all companies included in this year’s list.
Signicat’s position reflects sustained organic growth and the successful integration of strategic acquisitions across its European business. Over the past decade, the company has expanded its customer base, geographic reach and digital identity platform while continuing to invest in new technology and services. Today, the company employs more than 550 people across 16 European countries and supports more than 25,000 customers in 45 countries.
“Whether you pay taxes in Spain, go to the doctor in France, travel into the UK from Europe, check your bank account in Sweden or Norway, return bottles for recycling in Netherlands or use your digital ID wallet in Denmark, Signicat’s technology is being used”, he concludes.
For 2027 additional AML-R regulation and the digital EUDI wallet initiatives in Europe represent yet another change, which most European companies need to get prepared for. For businesses, the challenge is increasingly to combine stronger identity assurance and regulatory compliance with digital experiences that customers will actually complete.
