Good morning. I’m Tim Ryan, President & CEO of SIFMA and CEO of GFMA. Welcome to today’s Canadian-U.S. Securities Markets Summit.

We have a great lineup of industry experts here to discuss how we can bring Canadian investment opportunities to the U.S. and improve the flow of capital between our two countries. We’ll also look at the impact of regulatory reform on financial markets. We’re very pleased to have Minister Flaherty here to give the day’s keynote address. Minister Flaherty will not take questions, but he will hold a press briefing directly following his remarks in the Tribeca conference room.
