Shenzhen Stock Exchange: The ChiNext Board Keep A Steady Performance In 2017 With 90 Percent of The Companies Forecasting Profit And 60 Percent Forecasting Profit Increase

As of 31th December, 2018, the disclosure of 2017 annual performance forecasts of listed companies on the ChiNext Board has come to an end. According to statistics, the annual performance of ChiNext Board companies remains steady despite of the complex economic environment. Apart from Leshi Internet and Wen’s Foodstuff, performance of the companies listed on the ChiNext Board’s maintain a steady growth. 

It is forecasted that the net profit attributed to the shareholders (hereafter referred to as “net profit”)of 716 listed companies on the ChiNext Board add up to RMB 90.007 billion to RMB 107.558 billion with an variation scope from -11.08% to 6.25%, and the average estimated actual net profit would range from RMB 0.126 billion to RMB 0.15 billion. Apart from Leshi Internet and Wen’s Foodstuff, it is estimated the net profit of other 714 companies of the ChiNext Board of 2017 would range from RMB 95.017 billion to RMB 112.163 billion with an increase from 6.90% to 26.19% on year-on-year basis.

685 companies, accounting 95.67% of the ChiNext board, forecasted profit. Among them, 15 companies forecasted turning gains from losses, and 31 companies forecasted losses. As for the average net profit forecasts range, the net profit of 11 companies on the ChiNext Board are expected to be more than RMB 1 billion, and the net profit of 39 companies are expected to be more than RMB 0.5 billion. This forecast exhibits that a group of leading enterprises with strong innovation ability were emerging.

452 companies’ net profit is forecasted to grow on year-on-year basis, accounting for 63.13%. 151 companies’ growth rate is forecasted to be more than 50%, accounting for 21.09. These companies become the stabilizer for adjusting economy development speed while maintaining quality under the new normal circumstances and the new engine for transferring development power. 264 companies predicted decrease in net profit on year-on-year basis, accounting for 36.87%; among them, 91 companies predicted a decrease more than 50%, accounting for 12.71%.

470 companies listed on the ChiNext Board belong to the strategic emerging industries. The average profit growth rate of these companies apart from Leshi Internet is estimated to be 14.54% in 2017. Among these companies, the average growth rate of net profit of the companies in the energy saving, high-end equipment manufacturing and new energy industry sector is forecasted an increase of more than 30%. These companies are becoming the new highlight in national industrial restructuring.
