By summarizing and drawing on the experience of running the “First Lesson on Honesty” and board secretary qualification training and other subsequent trainings, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) opens another required training course for newly-listed companies, incorporating the previous training program for actual controllers into this one, with an aim to familiarize new listed companies and existing listed companies which have just replaced their chairman of the board, general manager, actual controller or board secretary with the requirements on information disclosure and compliance with laws and regulations regarding corporate operation as well as new regulatory policies. On September 28 and 29, 2017, SZSE held the first training program for recent listings, attracting 125 participants, with 87 newly listed companies involved. Newly-replaced chairmen, general managers, actual controllers or board secretaries from existing companies were also enrolled.

The required training course on listing for new listed companies touches upon the spirit of the National Financial Work Conference, information disclosure, corporate governance and party building, prevention of insider trading, use of capital market instruments, investor relations, etc. The training for recent listings was specially aimed at the key personnel such as chairmen of the board, general managers, actual controllers and board secretaries as per relevant requirements of China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”), and was conducted in accordance with the spirit of the National Financial Work Conference and the arrangements of the Mid-year Regulatory Work Conference of CSRC to guide listed companies to improve corporate governance, enhance party building, comply with laws and regulations on operation, and improve quality. It was a step taken to serve the real economy, push forward the supply-side structural reform, and to lay a solid foundation for the health development of the capital market.

A relevant officer from SZSE expressed that SZSE shall continue to research and innovate regulation and services measures, improve the quality of listed companies, contribute more to a healthy capital market and provide more vitality for a stable real economy.
