Recently, Shenzhen Stock Exchange ("SZSE") successfully passed the appraisal of the CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integrated) Institute, formally obtaining the CMMI Level 5 qualification. It marks that the research and development management capability of SZSE reaches the advanced level of the world software industry.
CMMI is the mainstream standard of computer software industry management in the world. It is divided into five levels (initial, repeatable, defined, managed and optimized levels), corresponding to different levels of enterprise software R & D management capability. At present, CMMI Level 5 is the evaluation of the highest management maturity, the most difficult application and the highest level in the world software industry. Qualification of the CMMI Level 5 marks that an organization's R & D management level and quality management capabilities sit among the world top software industry level.
Since 2007, SZSE has introduced the CMMI standard, focused on building an autonomous and controllable SEP (Software R & D Engineering Process) system, and passed the CMMI Level 3 appraisal for the first time in 2008. From the level of process quality and application software quality, a long-term mechanism to guard against technical risk and ensure the safe operation of businesses has been then established. For more than ten years thereafter, SZSE has persisted in introducing the world advanced R & D management concept, constantly improving and upgrading the technology R & D capability, and continuously promoting the effective operation of technology management systems. Hence, satisfactory results achieved in the quality and efficiency of software research and development. In 2017, SZSE further optimized the technology R & D management system and started a number of technical innovation, improvement and practice research by conforming to the CMMI high maturity standard and aligning with the most advanced software technologies and R & D modes in the industry. This attracted broad attention of the industry and delivered significant results, finally enabling SZSE to acquire the CMMI Level 5 certification.
