On the morning of July 1, the Party Committee of Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) organized all cadres to watch the live broadcast of the ceremony marking the centenary of the CPC and listen to the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping. On the afternoon of the day, the SZSE Party Committee convened an enlarged meeting of Party Committee Central Group to conscientiously study and understand the guiding principles of the speech, and discuss the arrangement of the work on thoroughly studying and practicing the guiding principles across SZSE. The Party organizations at all levels of SZSE followed up and studied the guiding principles of the speech in a timely manner to further deepen the understanding and learning and strengthen the implementation.
All the cadres of SZSE agreed that the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping is a high-level, magnificent, profound, thoughtful and inspiring document shining with the brilliant light of Marxist truth. It is a political manifesto for the Chinese Communists in the new era to remain true to our original aspirations and founding mission. It is a guide to actions for the Party to unite and lead the people in drawing lessons from history and ushering in the future. It is a glorious guide to inspire the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups in China as we strive unremittingly to realize the second centenary goal and the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. All of us were deeply moved, educated and baptized by the speech, and we were also greatly impressed by the great responsibility and honorable mission on our shoulders.
A great era calls for a great spirit, and a noble cause needs a role model to lead. It was widely agreed that we shall profoundly realize that the great founding spirit of the Party will always be the source of all other spirits of the Party. We should inherit and carry forward the great founding spirit, and vigorously promote the noble character and noble spirit of Party members as outlined by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the "July 1 Medal" award ceremony, i.e., staunch faith, fighting and dedicated spirit, integrity and devotion, and loyalty to the Party's fundamental tenet. Taking the "July 1 Medal" awardees as our role models, we will stay true to our original mission, uphold our ideals and convictions, and strive unswervingly for the noble cause of the Party and the happiness of the people for life.
At the request of the SZSE Party Committee, all members of SZSE must earnestly study, deeply understand and fully implement the guiding principles embodied in the speech, and resolutely respond to the call of General Secretary and the CPC Central Committee — "listen to the Party, be grateful to the Party, and follow the Party". We must do more to uphold our original aspiration and fulfill our mission on the new journey of building a modern socialist country in all respects, and mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party with high spirits and outstanding achievements.
First, we should continue to study and comprehend the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the celebration, accurately grasp the significance, rich connotation, core meaning and practical requirements of the speech, and further raise our political stance. We must be deeply conscious of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership. We must stay confident in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics. We must uphold the core position of the General Secretary on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and uphold the Central Committee's authority and its centralized, unified leadership. Bearing in mind the country's most fundamental interests, we should shoulder our responsibilities and answer the call of the new era while rising to all challenges.
Second, we should keep loyal to the Party's fundamental tenet, stand firm on the people's standpoint, and serve the capital market. It is also essential to continue to improve the market functions, enhance the market vitality, increase the credibility of SZSE, and take solid and effective measures to improve the sense of gain of all parties in the market.
Third, grounding our efforts in the new stage of development, we will fully, accurately and comprehensively apply the new development philosophy, serve to create a new development pattern, and deepen the implementation of all tasks for comprehensively deepening the reform of the capital market. We will strive to ensure the success and quality of all our projects and promote the high-quality development of the capital market, so as to better serve the country's overall economic and social development.
Fourth, we will uphold and strengthen the Party leadership in SZSE, continuously enhance our political judgment, understanding and execution, and set an example in carrying out all decisions and arrangements made by the CPC Central Committee and the CSRC Party Committee. We will remain strong in conviction, politics, responsibility, ability and working style, so as to provide a strong political guarantee for building SZSE into a high-quality innovative capital center and a world-class stock exchange.
