On September 29, the Roadshow for International Carbon Neutralization Projects (for Low Carbon Materials) was held online via SZSE's V-Next platform. This is the first roadshow of V-Next's investment and financing activities in the context of carbon neutrality policies, involving five projects from the UK, Greece, Russia and Singapore. The roadshow covers solar cells, biodegradable adhesives, nanotechnology and other fields, and is attended by nearly 100 representatives from listed companies and investment institutions engaged in new materials, energy saving and environmental protection.
The V-Next platform has been committed to facilitating investment and financing for domestic and overseas high-tech start-ups, exploring the potential of cooperation between international innovative industries and capital, and providing full-lifecycle, all-round financing support and cultivation services for innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises. So far, the V-Next platform has served more than 17,000 domestic and overseas start-ups, with a cooperative service network covering 46 countries and regions. Recently, the V-Next platform has joined hands with high-tech zones, small and medium enterprise associations, venture capital associations and other domestic and overseas cooperative institutions, and carried out various online and offline activities in the form of road shows for carbon-neutral projects, green industry salons, and visits to special carbon-neutral enterprises and venture capital institutions. It has supported domestic and overseas enterprises and investors to fully understand the “peak carbon emissions and carbon neutralization” strategy, guided investment institutions to develop green investment and helped enterprises to realize green and low-carbon transformation and upgrade.
In the next step, under the unified leadership of the CSRC, SZSE will actively implement the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality. Grounding its efforts in the new development stage, SZSE will implement the new development philosophy in a complete, accurate and comprehensive manner and support the fostering of a new pattern of development. It will also deeply explore the potential of cooperation between green and low-carbon industries and capital, and promote the building of a green financial service system. Through all these efforts, SZSE will make active contributions to accelerating the establishment of a green, low-carbon and circular economic system, achieving the goal of peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality as scheduled, and realizing high-quality economic development.
