On May 27, 2010, the SZSE held the discussion meeting with the theme"Push SME Board Healthy Development”, celebrating the sixth anniversary of SME board launching. More than 50 people including listed companies, local government, experts, journalists, attended the meeting. The meeting made the exchange in terms of successful experience including credibility and integrity construction, regulated operation, protection of investor rights and interests, as well as problems during the process. The meeting also discussed the development opportunity and challenge facing the SME board under the new circumstance, putting forward some detailed advice such as expediting development, optimizing structure, intensifying supervision and improving system.
Chen Dongzheng, the SZSE council chairman, stressed at the meeting that the successful practice and healthy development of the SME board fully indicate that the decision to push multi-layered capital market construction by steps is absolutely right. The healthy development of capital market needs many excellent enterprises; listed companies shall especially cherish the development opportunity given by the history, endure the test and tempering of the capital market, make the regulated operations, expedite the development, continuously improve the core competitiveness, put much effort to make contribution to the development of China’s economy and building up of harmonious and well-off society.
