SZSE has finished 2007 annual assessment on information disclosure for companies listed as SMEs and published the result through credit record of listed companies. The result indicated percent of pass to be 97.5. Performance of information disclosure for 24 companies accounting for 11.88 of total companies are satisfactory, 131 companies accounting for 64.85 above expectation, 42 companies representing 20.79 meet expectations while the remaining 5 companies are unsatisfactory.
It is a comprehensive assessment for 2007 annual information disclosure work for companies listed at SMEs, including information disclosures of 2007 annual report, report for the first and second quarter of 2007.
The assessment was made on basis of timeliness, veracity, completeness and normalization. To ensure the assessment result could reflect the overall standing of companies, SZSE also took regulation measure, company management and performance during the assessment period into account.
SZSE is currently working on measurements to improve transparency and quality of information disclosure for those companies, and is to arrange training for senior officials of listed companies with dissatisfactory performance in a bid to advance the service and protect investors’ right.
