Shenzhen Stock Exchange And Shenzhen Securities Information Company: CNINFO 1000 Sector Index Series Issued Today

Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. declared today to issue the CNINFO 1000 Sector Index Series on December 2, 2011, including CNINFO 1000 Energy Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Raw Material Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Industry Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Optional Consumption Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Staple Consumption Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Health Care Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Finance & Real Estate Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Information Technology Sector Index, CNINFO 1000 Telecom Service Sector Index, and CNINFO 1000 Public Utilities Sector Index, all of which take December 31, 2002 as the base day, and 1000 points as the base point.

This series of indexes are consistent with the SZSE Sector Index issued this June in the classification principle, which classifies the listed companies into 10 first-class sectors. The constituent stocks for the each sector index are made up of all the stocks of the corresponding sector, taking the sample stocks for CNINFO 1000 Index as the sampling range. Once there are more than 10 (inclusive) samples, a weighting upper limit of 15% will be set for each sample.

The CNINFO 1000 Sector Index is an important part of the CNINFO cross-market index system. Its issuance will provide the investors with more research tools and investment targets in the A share market of China.
