Shareholders Of The Philadelphia Stock Exchange Elect Six To Its Board Of Governors

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today the re-election of five of its board of governors and the election of one new member. The positions were filled at the PHLX’s annual stockholders meeting held yesterday, each for a three-year term. Eight-two percent of the outstanding shares were represented in the balloting.

Michael J. Curcio was re-elected off-floor industry governor. He is the Executive Vice President of E*Trade Financial.

Peter C. Erichsen was re-elected as a non-industry governor. He is a Vice President and General Counsel of the Trust and Secretary to the Board of Trustees of The J. Paul Getty Trust.
Charles P. Pizzi was re-elected as a non-industry governor. He is President and Chief Executive Officer, Tasty Baking Co.

Gene Sperling was re-elected as a non-industry governor. He is Senior Fellow for Economic Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C.

William Stallkamp was re-elected as a non-industry public governor. He is managing director of Penn Hudson Financial Group, Inc., a financial consulting firm specializing in providing restructuring services to public and privately held businesses.

Kevin Kennedy was elected to the newly created position of on-floor Philadelphia Board of Trade (PBOT) governor. He is affiliated as a senior executive with Preferred Trade. This position replaces the position of on-floor equity floor governor pursuant to a by-law amendment adopted earlier this year and approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
