Share Increase For PetroChina In The S&P Asia 50, S&P/HKEx Large Cap And S&P/CITIC China 30 Indices

The following change will be made in the S&P Asia 50, S&P/HKEx Large Cap and the S&P/CITIC China 30 Indices effective after the close of trading Friday September 16th, 2005.
  • PetroChina Company Limited (Hong Kong, Code: 0857, SEDOL: 6226576, GICS Code: 10102010), a member of the above mentioned indices, will increase its index shares from 17,582,418,000 to 20,747,252,000. This change is due to the placement of 3,164,834,000 new shares.
