Share Changes For Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group In The S&P European Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, effective after the close of trading on Thursday 31 May 2007:

• Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group (United Kingdom, SEDOL: 0661689, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40301030), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, shares will increase to 3,175,329,000 following the issue of new shares in a market placing.
