Share Changes For Brambles Industries Plc, Erste Bank Der Ost & Slough Estates In The S&P European Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro and S&P United Kingdom indices, effective after the close of trading on Friday 26 May 2006:
  • Brambles Industries plc (United Kingdom, SEDOL: 3061673, GICS: Industrials, GICS Code: 20201030), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, shares will change to 685,244,881 following buy-back of shares by the company.

  • Erste Bank Der Ost (Austria, SEDOL: 5289837, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40101010), a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices, shares will change to 308,032,560. New shares issued in January for financing the acquisition of Banca Comerciala Romana have now been merged with the old shares.

  • Slough Estates (United Kingdom, SEDOL: 0814104, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40403010), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, shares will change to 468,655,310 following the conversion of convertible preference shares to ordinary shares.
